Before any of our patients undergo any type of procedure or surgery at Twin City Plastic Surgery, we like them to undergo a consultation in order to ensure that the patient is satisfied and that the doctor can deliver on the expected results. And although some doctors offices don’t require that patients undergo a consultation, we pride ourselves on ensuring that each of our patients gets the best service in the business. So, what can you expect from one of our consultations? Read on to learn more.
Because all of our doctors and specialists are extremely busy, we do require that all patients schedule an appointment with our receptionist before coming in to see one of our doctors. This will not only ensure that you receive the one-on-one care and attention that you deserve, but it will also ensure that our doctors can address your situation with both time and patience.
After you have scheduled your appointment, you will be invited in for a physician consultation. During your physician consultation, one of our friendly doctors will meet with you in order to go over your problem areas and discuss your treatment options. Additionally, during your physical consultation, and with your permission, one of our staff members will take a picture of the area you hope to target so that we have something to compare to and go off of later down the line.
During your physician consultation, we recommend that you come prepared with a list of questions so that you can leave the office feeling informed and ready for the next step. Although our doctors will do their best to address all aspects of each procedure, there are sometimes things that are missed and this will help to ensure that you get all of your questions answered by one of our professionals. Ideas for questions to ask, include:
What is recovery time like for this procedure?
What are the results that I can expect?
Is this a permanent or temporary procedure?
Are there alternative procedures that are equally as effective?
All of our physicians at Twin City Plastic Surgery want to ensure that you get the best treatment available. To learn more about our consultation process or to schedule your consultation, contact our office today!
